Ted Cummings and David Green, Democrats who are running to be Spokane County commissioners, are working together for change.

Countywide candidates don’t appear in the Secretary of State’s printed Voters’ Guide. To see their online Voters’ Guide profiles, click on About-Ted and About-David.

Ted, who is an active union member in the United Steelworkers Local 338, is running for Spokane County commissioner for District 1. David, who is a certified public accountant and community volunteer/political activist, is running for Spokane County commissioner for District 2. Both Ted and David find strength in working together for change. They want to put “People First.”

Ted and David have been endorsed by the Spokane Regional Labor Council, Spokane County Democrats, and the Fuse Progressive Voters Guide. And they share a common goal. They want to focus the governance of Spokane County on its people, not business or real estate developers.

Neither Ted nor David will accept contributions from corporations, businesses (big or small), or real estate developers. And they’re also refusing to accept contributions from political action committees (PACs) principally funded by business interests. Each is, instead, counting on smaller donations from real people like you by running a grassroots campaign.

Why “Ted & David for us”? Because change will come to Spokane County only when a majority of the county commissioners share a common viewpoint. And Ted and David believe that people matter more than business interests and real estate development.
